A New Twist
It's funny how life can throw a curve and have something wonderful happen!

Two years ago my career ended and I went looking for a new job.  To make a long story short, I ended up in a small mountain town in western Colorado.  This twist landed me in heaven.  My small town has an artists' co-op and I grabbed my stock of greeting cards and oddball paper items and went in for a jury session.  I was accepted and did OK my first month, but after talking with some of the members I was encouraged to try my hand at quilled earrings.  What a joy!  I love making them, they don't take too long to make and they're selling like hotcakes!

Here's an example of a few of my creations.

Our merchandisers do a wonderful job of setting up displays to make any item look great.

And, of course, with Christmas right around the corner, I've got to get busy making inventory for the season.  I've heard that sales are outstanding during November and December and I hope to be able to keep up my numbers.

    1. Annette, I can't believe you're still around! So happy to hear from you and thank you! I'd still be making cards if I had an outlet for them (otherwise my house would fill up quickly!!). Life is BEAUTIFUL!
