Motion Cards

Penny spinners, wobble action springs, and strange embellishments can make a card super fun.

The dog is suspended on 2 pennies surrounding the center circle, and with a twist of the wrist, the dog goes round and round and spins.  The inside verse warns "Not your tail!".

Loved this card idea and DH agreed with the suggestion to make "cans" to trail after the car!

Crafters, if you haven't found wobble action springs yet, go looking!  They turn an ordinary card into a masterpiece.  Not that mine are masterpieces, but I love creating them.  Just the slightest touch and the alarm clock shimmies and shakes!

Just having a little fun with this one.  The pointing finger is also a penny spinner.  The card says to "Go left!"  and the card opens on the left.

A little bowling theme.  Another penny spinner.

Again, the wobble action springs make these hands look like they are clapping.  Wonderful congratulations card!

Birds are Chirping

Birds are chirping, the sun is shining, the temp is warming...  I think Spring is almost here and that means Easter Cards!

Here's what I created this season:

Such cute bunny ears!

Still coloring!  Made a card around these 3 Easter eggs.

Need a new technique for this woven ribbon.

I think this is my favorite Easter card this year.  The colors are still Spring-like, yet not the usual pastels.

Love the bunny tail!

Still not crazy about this design.

My 2nd fave!  I turned out very well, although it took a long time to do.

Looks so innocent, but inside...

so cute!

The lily came out better this year.

So adorable!  I bet this one sells first!

And this one will go second!

Here's the inside.

Fixed the design after I made this one.  Next year's will be awesome!

Even found time to make some treat boxes.

The pyramid box has a secret compartment.

The design took forever to create, but love the way it turned out!

Valentine's Day is coming!

As is usual with most sellers, our holidays come before everyone else's.  So, here I am all ready for Valentine's Day!

For those intense loves, here are some "dark" cards!  Very hot!

I've had the design for this card for a long time, intimidated by the flowers.  New flower punch and a little bravery and voila!

Sweetest card I've made.  The inside states:  and it led me to you!  Awww!

So sweet!  All those hearts and a special one for your love!

Valentine's is perfect for pop ups!  I've used this design several places and still love it!

This overly large heart in the center of this card makes a dramatic presentation when opened.

And I love kitty cats!  These 2 are so cute!

New Designs

New ideas come around whenever they feel like it - guess they felt like it!  Here's a bunch of new designs for all types of occasions.

Sometimes, the inspiration comes from the phrase.  Once I found "You are a gem", it was easy to design the card.

This white on white card with black lettering looks very elegant.

Stick wedding figures and the perfect font made this card a breeze.

The spirelli inspired background makes the hand-colored roses really pop.

After finding the right butcher's twine, I made this "lollipop" by gluing it down to a circle.  Lots of sticky fingers, but worth it!

I think the sizing of the tags needs more thought.  I'll redo this someday.

Found a set of flower dingbats that went well with this sympathy card.

Figuring out a wine glass was tricky, but a clear plastic sheet and a white chalk edger solved my dilemma.

Love the way this one turned out!  Just the perfect papers and more of that butcher's twine.

My favorite one for this long weekend.  I think it needs just one more small element and it will be fabulous!

Need to work on the placement of the stars.

It's slightly mind-blowing to realize that a tone can be set with just a font.  The 2nd line is a very "young" style.

My least favorite card.  It's funny how when designing the card, the image in my head looks so much better.  Maybe next time!

Along the theme of "The Sound of Music" for this retirement card.

Finally made a shaker card that works!

I just hope the nails stay glued to the card!

Love this sentiment.  The inside finishes it off by stating "You are the candle".

Colorful congratulation card.

Another encouragement card that has a great sentiment.

I've had many hours of fun designing and creating these cards.  Hope you enjoy them!  Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
